Perumbavoor murder: Priyamani exhorts women to leave India
Actress Priyamani’s tweet following the rape and murder of law student Jisha in Perumbavoor has raked up controversy. Priyamani first tweeted that she was shocked by the incident and India is no longer safe for women.

Priyamani also mentions the incident in Bangalore where an attempt was made to abuse a girl after abducting her.

The actress then requested all women in India to leave the country to somewhere else if things are going this way.

The twitteratti were soon abuzz with tweets supporting and opposing Priyamani’s tweets. Those opposing Priyamani say that anybody can post such hollow opinions and that people should protest unitedly when such issues come up.
