Not satisfied on ‘Unda’, director Khalid Rahman opens up to fans
Director Khalid Rahman stated that he is not satisfied on his latest release ‘Unda’ and his first movie ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’ is his favourite one. He made the revelation while interacting with his fans on Instagram.
The director marked the responses while answering to questions of his fans and he shared it on his Instagram stories.
One of his fans asked him the reason to be unsatisfied over Unda. Khalid stated that he has many reasons for it.
In most of the questions related to Unda, the director made negative responses.
At the same time, he expressed his happiness over his debut movie ‘Anuraga Karikkin Vellam’.
Khalid Rahman described Mammootty as university. He also expressed his wish to do more movies with Mammootty.
Explaining Unda in one sentence, the director noted that it is ‘real reel life experience’.
Responding on his choice between the two young stars Fahadh Faasil and Dulquer Salmaan, the director noted he will choose Fahadh Faasil.
Mammotty starrer Unda portrayed the life of policemen from Kerala who were deputed for election duty in a Maoist area in Chhattisgarh. The movie received good appreciation from the audience too. Harshad and Khalid Rahman penned the script of the movie. Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory, Arjun Ashokan, Dileesh Potham and Kalabhavan Shajon played lead roles in the movie. Asif Ali, Vinay Fort and Sudhi Koppa made cameo appearance in the movie. Sethukumar produced the movie under the banner of Movie Mill and Gemini Studios.
