No flex boards for Mammootty’s Ganagandharvan
Mammootty starrer ‘Ganagandharvan’ directed by mimicry artist and actor Ramesh Pisharody will not have promotions using huge flex boards. The director himself declared that no flexes would be used following the death of a young woman in an accident in Chennai after a hoarding fell on the road.
Kollywood stars Vijay and Ajith also requested their fans to avoid flex boards for movie promotions.

Kollywood star Suriya also criticised the cut out culture in Tamil Nadu. He asked the people to reserve the fund spent on hoardings to carry out social welfare activities.
Twenty-three-year-old Subashree working in a software company was run over by a water tanker as she fell down on the road when an illegal life size hoarding put up by a ruling AIADMK functionary fell on her on September 12. Subashree was returning home from office when the accident happened.
Madras High Court criticised AIADMK over the bizzare incident.
