Nivin Pauly’s Moothon gets good response at Toronto International Film Festival
Mollywood actor Nivin Pauly starrer 'Moothon' directed by actress Geetu Mohandas had a world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday. The audience appreciated the movie and noted that Nivin’s performance was incredible.
“Moothon was an amazing film and I can see how much love Geetu Mohandas put into the film. Nivin’s performance was incredible (also meeting him was a dream come true. I can’t wait for the rest of the world to catch this amazing film,” tweeted Sandrita, one among the audience at Toronto International Film Festival.
The movie was screened in special representation category at the film fest. 'Moothon' will open the 21st edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
The bi-lingual movie is made in Malayalam and Hindi languages.
'Moothon' portrays the story of a youth who moves to Mumbai from Lakshadweep in search of his missing brother. Shasahank Arora, Roshan Mathew and Shobitha Dhulipala are the other lead stars in the movie.
Geetu Mohandas penned the script of the movie. Her husband noted cinematographer-director Rajeev Ravi has cranked the camera.
Popular Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap penned the Hindi dialogues of the movie. He is also one among the producers of ‘Moothon’.
