Mammootty steps out of his residence for the first time since COVID lockdown
Kochi: After 275 days, superstar Mammootty has stepped out of his residence in Kochi.
Along with his friends, Mammootty drove through the city in his car, watched the setting sun near the newly inaugurated Pizhala bridge and sipped black tea from a tea shop near Kaloor stadium.
The photos of the actor sipping black tea have already gone viral in social media. Mammootty was accompanied by his friends in the industry including producer Anto Joseph, actor Ramesh Pisharady, production controller Badusha and makeup man George.
Lockdown was announced soon after he shifted to his new residence in Ernakulam. Since then, the 3-time national award winner remained inside his house and followed all the COVID protocols.
Meanwhile, he took part in 4 book launch ceremonies organized at his house. Mammootty was acting in 'The Priest' when the nationwide lockdown was announced.
