Mammootty’s Kasaba to have a sequel, hints producer Joby George
Released in 2016, ‘Kasaba’ starring Mammootty directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, was a super hit movie. On the occasion of the movie’s 4th anniversary, producer Joby George hinted that the film is likely to have a sequel.
In his Facebook post, Joby wrote that if destiny allows, Rajan Sakkariah (Mammootty’s character in Kasaba) will make a comeback.
‘Kasaba’ marked the directorial debut of Nithin Renji Panicker, son of director-script writer turned actor Renji Panicker. Mammootty’s character in the movie made headlines after Parvathy Thiruvothu criticised the movie misogynistic.
Neha Saxena and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar played female leads in the movie.
