Mammootty promises COVID vaccine for 250 people
Kaipamangalam: Mollywood megastar Mammootty will sponsor COVID vaccine for 250 people in the state. He made the announcement while visiting CP Trust Covid First-Line Treatment Centre, which is all set to open in Mathilakam for women and children. The actor and C P Muhammad Memorial Trust Chairman C P Salih reached the CFLTC by 7 pm on Tuesday.
Mammootty informed that the Care and Share International Foundation led by him and C P Memorial Trust will jointly take initiative to vaccinate 250 individuals.
State Government along with C P Muhammad Memorial Charitable Trust took the effort to establish the new CFLTC. The centre will have 400 oxygen beds.
The centre will open on August 10. Opposition leader V D Satheeshan, CPM State Secretary A Vijayaraghavan and BJP State President K Surendran had also visited the Health Centre earlier.
