Joy Mathew ridicules govt decision to start pubs in state
Kozhikode: Actor-director Joy Mathew ridiculed the government’s plan to grant permission for pubs in the state for recreation.
“Beer pubs for recreation of urban beings after hectic work hours! At least give permission to the farmer, who toils in the soil, to tap toddy from his own coconut trees on his compound,” Joy Mathew said in the post.
He further said in the post that renaissance can be implemented in this way also and that the comrades also are unlikely to have a difference of opinion in this matter. The post has already garnered more than 3000 likes and 160 shares.
