Motivation in life
Many people encouraged me. My wife, brother, other family members and friends used to give a positive energy to follow my dream.
Even some strangers helped me in some situations. I think I would not reach such a position if they had not supported me.
Journey to become an actor
Like everyone I do experienced happiness and miseries in my life. It is essential to realise the worth of happiness.
Entry in Kollywood
I got first offer from kollywood when I was doing Godha. I found the story of Abhiyum Anuvum as very thrilling when the director told me about the project. This romantic story has great elements which are very different and interesting. As debutant in the industry, it is a great opportunity for me.
Sharing screen space with Dhanush in Maari 2
I found the story very interesting. Wonder bar company who produced my movies ‘Tharangam’ and ‘Maradona’ is producing the movie. I know the director Balaji Mohan very well. So I decided to commit to the project.
My first scene in the movie was with Dhanush. I had to converse long dialogues that cross upto four pages. But I successfully completed the first shot and it was Dhanush who clapped for me first in the location.
About upcoming movies Maradona and Theevandi
Though an action thriller, Maradonna is a feel good movie that connects love and family tracks. So I hope it will entertain the audience.
Theevandi is a political satire. In the movie, I play the role of Bineesh Damodhar who is known as Theevandi for his chain smoking habit.
The entry to Madhupal’s Kuprasidha Payyan
I am a diehard fan of director Madhupal. I watched his movies ‘Thalappavu’ and ‘Ottamuri’ many times. It was my longtime dream to do a project with him.
Compared to my other projects, Kupradisha Payyan narrates a unique story and its narration is also unique. The movie is based on the life of a notorious young man named Ajayan.
