It’s indeed a proud moment for Mollywood. Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan has been listed among the most influential young Indians by GQ Magazine.
The list also has actor Ranveer Singh and cricketer Virat Kohli.
The magazine describes Dulquer as the “hottest ticket” in Mollywood. “He’s already got the trappings to become a bonafide superstar: critically acclaimed movies, a pan-India fan base, dapper style and lineage – he’s South Indian superstar Mammootty’s son,” it says.
Announcing the list, GQ said “these young tycoons have made household names of themselves, dominating pop culture from its very epicentre and none of them is older than 40.”
“The list reflects the youthful population of a dynamic economy. These are men who have a new vision for India and the chops to make it happen,” it added.
The actor has tweeted the photographs of him and his wife with Aamir Khan after the award ceremony.
