Early morning release of Rajini’s ‘Kaala’; Fans super-excited
Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest movie ‘Kaala’ hit the theatres today. The first show was screened at the break of dawn. Fans have been celebrating the movie even before the release and it reached the peaks after the first show. Following customs, the admirers showered flowers and poured milk over the hoardings and welcomed the movie of Thalaiva with rejoice in Chennai.
As per the initial reviews, the movie is said to be one of the best blockbusters Rajini has ever had. People have been curiously watching if Rajini would make any political punch in the film as the superstar made his entry to politics recently.
From a very early stage of making, the film was in the news for the star and the theme alike. Proving the expectations of theatre owners to be true, people flocked the theatres to watch the biggest ever hit, as it is widely called.
However, ‘Kaala’ was never away from controversies too. Annoyed by a remark of Rajinikanth regarding the sensational Cauvery issue with Karnataka, a ban has been imposed on the film in the Kannada state. Some Pro-Kannada groups have threatened that the movie’s release in the state will be disrupted.
Later, Rajini sent a message in Kannada to the chief minister of Karnataka H.D. Kumaraswamy seeking security for his film release in the state. Kumaraswamy has advised the film crew to delay the release of the movie to ensure peaceful screening. He urged that it is better to hold the release till the Cauvery issue is settled.
