Dileep’s bail: FEFKA member seeks PM’s intervention
Thrissur: With the Kerala High Court dismissing the bail petition submitted by actor Dileep in the actress abduction case for a second time, Salim India, a member of the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), has sent a fax message to the Prime Minister seeking his intervention.
In his message, Salim alleges that the extension of Dileep’s remand period is suspicious and adds that the statement issued by the policeman serving at Aluva Police club cannot be taken at face value.
Salim further says that the rights of the actor have been violated.
Earlier, he had filed a similar petition with the State Human Rights Commission. Based on this, SHRC member K Mohan Kumar has sought an explanation from Aluva Rural SP and also the petitioner.
