Dileep approaches court for permission to visit Germany for shooting
Kochi: Dileep, alleged accused in the actress attack case, approached the court seeking permission for foreign visit. He has requested permission from the court to visit Germany for film shooting. But, the prosecution has apprised the court that it is a deliberate move from the defendant to delay the court hearing.
The affidavit submitted by prosecution stated that delaying the hearing in a case after the submission of charge sheet is like denying justice to the attacked actress.
Dileep’s passport was submitted to the court. He has asked for the passport to travel to Frankfurt in Germany. The foreign trip is fixed between Dec 15 and January 30. Dileep clarified that the shooting was planned in Kerala and foreign countries.
Hearing in the actress attack case has not yet started despite submitting the charge sheet before 1 year. The court proceedings are delayed by the defendants, including Dileep, through frequent submission of pleas. Prosecution has informed the court that it is a planned move. Further details about the foreign trip, including that of the co-travellers, their place of stay haven’t been mentioned in Dileep’s request. Most of the witnesses in the case are from the film field. Prosecution said that such trips in the name of shooting is aimed at influencing the witnesses. At the same time, Dileep’s advocate requested the court to allow the stamping of visa and he will accept any condition of the court.
