Bollywood actor John Abraham, Dulquer, Nivin, Parvathy and others mourn Sachy's demise
Film fraternity mourned the untimely demise of the talented director-script writer Sachy who died of cardiac arrest on Thursday. He was 48.
Bollywood actor John Abraham, who has bought the rights to remake Sachy's last film, Ayyappanum Koshiyum in Hindi, took to Twitter to mourn the demise of the filmmaker.
He wrote, "Shattered to lose such a talent. Rest In Peace my friend. #RIP #Sachy"
Many young actors in the Malayalm film fraternity also mourned the demise of Sachy.
Actor Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram page and expressed condolences over his idol. He said that he was a huge fan of Sachy’s works.
“RIP Sachi etta ! Feels like we met just the other day while Varane Avashyamund and Ayyapanum Koshyiyum dubs were going on simultaneously at the same studio. Your innings as a director made you a force to reckon with. I was such a fan of your work. Each film better than the other. A huge huge loss to our industry. Condolences and prayers to all those who loved you and knew you,” he wrote.

Manju Warrier, took to her Facebook page and wrote that “another irreplaceable loss in this year of losses”.
Actor Tovino Thomas said that “You ll be terribly missed Sachietta!”.
Actress Parvathy said, “Sachy sir. Another irrevocable loss to cinema. Sending love and strength to the bereaved family and loved ones”.
Nivin Pauly expressed his shock over the sudden demise of the director-writer and said that it is a big loss to Malayalam cinema.
“Shocked to hear the sudden demise of Sachy ettan. Indeed, a big loss to Malayalam cinema. May his soul rest in peace!” he wrote.
Meanwhile, director B Unnikrishnan remembered Sachy as a magician who could turn theatres into festival grounds. His name had a minimum guarantee. As a screenwriter/ Director, he is the undisputed numero uno in the Malayalam Film Industry today.
Actors Aju Varghese and Sunny Wayne also mourned the death of the talent. While Aju said, “A big loss.... May your soul rest in peace! Love and prayers”, Sunny Wayne wrote on his social media page, “Rip to the One of the Best Script Writers and Finest Directors of Mollywood!”
Actress Navya Nair condoled the death and said “RIP .. gone too soon .. a big loss to malayalam cinema ..” while sharing a picture of the director.
Meanwhile Bhavana took to her Instagram page and wrote “You will be missed Sachi chetta....it was great working with you. Rest in Peace #OneOfTheGoodOnesLeft #ScriptWriter #MalayalamMovies”.
Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal took to his Twitter account and said that the news of Sachy’s death breaks his heart. He also revealed that two Malayalam movies he loved the most recently were Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Driving License, both directed by Sachy.
