Kochi: Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (A.M.M.A) will hold discussion with the Kerala Film Producers’ Association to resolve the issue with young actor Shane Nigam. It is reported that A.M.M.A will ask the producers to resume the shooting of the movies which were shelved. The discussion will be held in Kochi on Thursday.
At the same time, Shane Nigam has promised all cooperation to resume the shooting of the movies. In view of this, the artistes’ association has decided to hold talks with the producers.
It is hinted that Mohanlal also condemned the producers’ association’s decision to boycott Shane Nigam’s movies.
Members in A.M.M.A also opined that banning Shane Nigam would not be justified as he is a promising actor.
As Shane is Kalabhan Abhi’s son, the artists have taken up a firm stand to resolve the issue. Hence, A.M.M.A will promise the producers that Shane will completely cooperate with all projects.
Meanwhile, FEFKA general secretary B Unnikrishnan has forwarded another letter to producers. In the letter, he noticed the complaints raised by ‘Veyil’ movie director Sarath. Debutant director Sarath has expressed his grief in shelving his ambitious project.
