Actress Annie who is settled as a homemaker after her marriage with director Shaji Kailas is back in headlines with a happy news for foodies. Her son's cafeteria ‘Annie’s Samosa Point’ at Kesavadasapuram in Thiruvananthapuram has been winning hearts of foodies since a year.
The versatile actress who is an excellent cook has decided to market her recipies when her son Jagan who is an MBA graduate. Jagan and his friend Bijith started the cafeteria to practice business administration.
Varieties of samosas are served in this cafeteria. Black tea, different samosas, chicken roll, cutlet, kachori, kilikoodu and a number of snacks are the major attractions here.
College students and people from film industry are regular customers at Annie’s Samosa Point.
“Jagan decided to start the cafeteria after completing his MBA. His desire and Annie’s experience in cooking helped to establish the business well,” said director Shaji Kailas.
Though Jagan has produced short films and music videos, nothing made him popular like his cafeteria.
