AMMA not to discuss attack on actress: Innocent
Thrissur: The recent developments over the case pertaining to the abduction of the actress will not be discussed by the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), said its president Innocent.
“AMMA is a collective of film workers. However, there is no need to discuss personal issues at this platform,” he told media persons before attending the meeting of AMMA at Kochi Crown Plaza on Wednesday.
“The issues faced by women were subjected to discussion on earlier occasions. Since the case of abduction is pending with police and court, there is no need to rake up controversies by undesirable statements. The probe is heading at right direction. The organization will support the actress,” he added.
Innocent also welcomed formation of the 'Women in Cinema Collective.'
