Actor Indrajith led ‘Anbodu Kochi’ lends a helping hand to flood victims
Kochi: When Kerala faced another disastrous floods, ‘Anbodu Kochi’, a social service group led by actor Indrajith Sukumaran has been assisting victims across the state. The group has been collecting essential products for the people in relief camps across the state.
Indrajith’s wife and actress Poornima and a few other actors are also engaged in this noble mission. On their Facebook page, team ‘Anbodu Kochi’ used to share the photographs of the people who make donations for flood victims.
Last day, a photo of a small boy with Indrajith has gone viral on social media. In the pic, the boy was seen donating bottled drinking water to Indrajith.
“This boy has fulfilled two dreams in his life together. The first one is his wish to help his friends who lost everything in the flood. He also fulfilled his wish to meet his favourite star Indrajith with this noble act,” ‘Anbodu Kochi’ captioned the pic.
The team has been collecting materials for flood victims at Regional Sports Centre in Kadavantra. At present, the collected materials are taken to northern districts namely Malappuram, Wayanad and Kannur.
‘Anbodu Kochi’ supported the flood victims during the floods in 2018 also.
