Kochi: After the reopening of theatres with Tamil movie ‘Master’ starring Vijay, makers of Malayalam movies are preparing for release soon.
According to reports, 19 Malayalam movies will be released by March.
mathrubhumi.com has received a copy of the movie list prepared by the film producers’ association for release.
Jayasurya starrer ‘Vellam’ will be the first Malayalam movie to hit theatres which reopened after a long break due to Covid pandemic. The movie is scheduled to release on January 22. ‘Vaanku’ and ‘Love’ will be released following ‘Vellam’ .
As per the list, 12 movies will have theatrical release in February.
Mamootty-Manju Warrier starrer ‘Priest’ will be released on February 4.
‘Sajan Bakery’, ‘Operation Java’ and ‘Yuvam’ are the movies scheduled for release on February 12.
‘Maradu 357’, ‘Varthamanam’, ‘Velutha Madhuram’ are listed for release on February 26.
‘Sahyadriyile Chuvanna Pookkal’, ‘Toll Free 1600 600’, ‘Sunny’ and ‘Ajagajantharam’ are the other movies scheduled for release in February.
Kunchacko Boban starrer ‘Mohankumar Fans’ is expected to hit theatres in February. But the date is not confirmed yet.
