'Thodari' fame actor Swarupu to enter Malayalam movie industry
Upcoming actor Swarupu, who played a prominent role in the Dhanush-Keerthi Suresh starrer Tamil movie ‘Thodari’, is all set to enter the Malayalam movie industry.
He will be seen in ‘Padmavyuhathile Abhimanyu’, a movie based on the life of slain student leader Abhimanyu of Maharajas College.
Newcomer Akash is playing Abhimanyu in the movie directed by Vineesh Aradhya and produced by RMCC Productions. Swarupu is playing the role of a close friend of Abhimanyu.
Indrans, Shailaja, veteran actress Bhagyalakshmi, Anoop Chandran, Sona Nair, Simon Britto also will be seen in the movie.
Swarupu had earlier acted in the Tamil movie Ennul Aayiram, but rose to fame with Thodari. He has also acted in a Telugu movie directed by Raghavendra Rao.
Swarupu and family is settled in Ireland and came to India for acting in movies. His grandfather Krishnankutta Pillai Baghavathar was earlier residing in Kozhikode.
