Vijay fans had gone berserk after the hashtag went trending on twitter. At the same time, some people were in panic and anxious about Vijay’s health. Believing the hash tag, some people thought that Vijay passed away.
Meanwhile, cricketer Ashwin Ravichandran expressed his disappointment with the youngsters who took such a disgraceful hashtag against the star.
"There was an asteroid that missed hitting our planet a few days ago, irregular monsoons hitting different cities, droughts in many parts of our country and very disturbing criminal cases being spoken, but the young generation of our lovey state manage to trend this #RIPactorVIJAY," tweeted Ashwin.

Hitting back at the people behind the hashtag, Vijay fans started to trend another hashtag #LongliveVijay on twitter.
It is revealed that the rivalry between Thala Ajith fans and Vijay fans ended up in the cruel social media hashtag. The hashtag against actor Vijay appeared on twitter with the announcement of Ajith starrer Nerkonda Paarvai’s release. The movie which is a Tamil remake of Bollywood movie Pink will hit theatres on August 10.
At the same time, many people criticised the open war between the fans and noted that the whole world is watching this shameful acts.
Vijay is busy with the shooting of Bigil directed by Atlee. The movie will be released on Diwali 2019.
