I react when I'm provoked badly: Shane Nigam
Mollywood young actor Shane Nigam landed in trouble following the producers’ body deciding to boycott his films. In an interview with mathrubhumi.com, Shane Nigam opens up about himself as an actor and a person.
“I have to completely perceive the character before acting in any movie. Sometimes, I need half an hour to adapt myself to the character. But sometimes, I need two or three days to get into the character. During some shootings, I was living as the character and continued to act even after the director said ‘cut’. Unfortunately, some people can’t understand this,” said Shane.
The Ishq actor also noted that when he is mentally disturbed, he finds acting as a solution to overcome it.
“If my dearest ones make a negative statement about me, I won’t react. I will forget the matter by engaging myself in acting and composing music. I used to write stories also,” said Shane Nigam.
Shane is composing music for his upcoming movie ‘Qurbani’.
Talking about his social media activities, the actor stated that he was not interested in social media but was asked to open accounts being an actor.
“I use social media to clear my stand with the audience. Now, everyone wants me to take a break from social media. Actually, I don’t need to engage myself in all these things. But I am forced to react on social media when I am provoked too badly,” said the Kumbalangi Nights actor.
The tussle between Shane Nigam and Producers Association has been a heating topic of discussion in Kerala. The producers’ body demanded Shane Nigam to pay Rs 7 crore as compensation for the two movies namely ‘Veyil’ and ‘Qurbani’ which were shelved. According to reports, the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists and Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) will take action to resolve the issue between Shane and the producers.
