I never thought I will be his bride, Saranya Mohan opens up about marriage
Saranya Mohan made her debut in Mollywood as a child artist with Kunchako Boban starrer Aniyathipravu directed by Faasil. She is the daughter of dancer couple Mohanan and Kalamandalam Devi. Saranya has won hearts of the audience with a number of movies in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil languages. Her impressive performance in the movie ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ made her win the Vijay TV award for best actress in a supporting role.
Saranya left her acting career following her marriage with Aravind Krishnan in 2015. But she is active as a dancer and her husband supports her to pursue her dreams.
In an interview with Mathrubhumi News, Saranya opened up about her marriage with Aravind.
“We were good friends before marriage. We had an arranged marriage as planned by our families," said Saranya and Aravind.
The couple also explained about their first meeting and 7 years of long friendship.
“We met for the first time through a common friend Indrajith, editor of my movie ‘Chemistry’. He is the son of director Viji Thampi’s brother. Indrajith introduced Saranya to me. After 7 years of long friendship, we entered wedlock,” said Aravind.
“Before marriage, we never discussed any serious matters. We used to crack jokes on each other. Aravind used to tell me that he will definitely invite me for his marriage. But I never thought that I will be his bride. When my family started to invite proposals for me, I got his proposal. Both families were happy to forward the proposal and we entered wedlock,” said Saranya.
Aravind is a lecturer at Varkkala Govt.Dental College. Saranya and Aravind have two children namely Ananthapadmanabhan and Annapoorna.
