I missed out on my children’s childhood: Mohanlal
Mollywood star Mohanlal opened up about his grief on missing the important moments with his children during their childhood. The actor revealed it in his write up ‘Pallunkumanikal’ published on Mathrubhumi daily dated 28 January 2020.
“During my busy schedule as an actor, I missed my children's childhood. I failed to enjoy their childhood and never tried to know about their school days. Because, I was too busy in the industry and I forgot myself with the engagements. I was running from one set to another for the shootings,” said Mohanlal.
He also noted his wife’s sweet warning on missing the best moments with the kids.
“My wife used to tell me that there is no retake for the growth, fun and smile of the children. It will be over soon and as a father I will regret over missing it,” Mohanlal added.
The Mollywood superstar expressed his sadness for missing the best moments with his children when he completed 40 long years in the industry.
Mohanlal’s son Pranav aka Appu has already made his acting debut in Mollywood. His daughter Vismaya aka Maya completed her studies in theatre from Prague, London and US. She is busy with the works to release first book which is a collection of her poems and paintings.
