It is normal for women to gain weight post childbirth. But if the woman is a celebrity, especially an actress, gaining weight is seen as a crime.
The latest in the list of celebrities who have been targeted by netizens for going ‘out of shape’ is actress Saranya Mohan.
A picture of Saranya had gone viral and some people even passed comments about her ‘fat look’. The actress husband Aravind Krishnan soon came forward to support her, giving a befitting reply to the trollers.
He said none, who had body-shamed his wife, would have ever cared to give up things which they loved the most for their families as Saranya did. Aravind also said there is many more things in the country for the people to think and worry about other than his wife’s weight gain.
Earlier, Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai had gained weight after her pregnancy and child birth and had sparked a debate.
