The pooja of Mohanlal’s upcoming film ‘Odiyan’ was performed in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday morning at 9.30.
The function also witnessed pooja of his son Pranav Mohanlal’s film –Aadhi. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film will have Pranav debuting as a hero.
Mohanlal’s wife Suchitra and daughter Vismaya also took part in the function.
In Odiyan, Mohanlal plays Odiyan Manikkan, the last member of an extinct tribal community in the state. The film will be directed by V A Shrikumar Menon. The project also stars Manju Warrier and will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
Pranav’s movie is also produced by Antony Perumbavoor. The first look poster of ‘Aadhi’ was released in the function. The movie has a tagline --“Some Lies Can Be deadly.”
The teaser of Lal Jose’s ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam’ starring Mohanlal, was also released at the ceremony.
