SBI curbs card transactions during night
Kannur: State Bank of India has curbed all of its ATM card transactions during night. The transactions from 11 pm to 6 am has been banned.
The move is aimed to check frauds after it found that most of the transactions using stolen cards are done during night.
Customers were able to transfer up to Rs 40,000 from ATMs to bank accounts or to other accounts till now.
After widespread frauds, some restrictions were imposed on transactions, but unfruitful. Following this SBI has restrained all card transactions during night.
