Gold price at all-time high; Rs 36,160 per sovereign, Rs 4520 for one gram
The price of gold has broken all records and crossed Rs 36,000 for the first time in history. On Wednesday, the gold price increased by Rs 360 and reached Rs 36,160 per sovereign. Price of one gram of gold is Rs 4,520.
The price of 10 grams of pure gold rose to Rs 48,830 in domestic market. The price hike in international market reflected in the domestic market also. One troy ounce of gold is now worth 1,782.21 Dollars in the international market. The price of one kilogram of silver also increased by 0.12 percent and reached Rs 50,423.
The steady rise in the COVID transmission and issues between countries put the stock market in uncertainty. Following this, the investment in gold increased and thus the price also skyrocketed. The gold price increased by Rs 7,160 in this year alone. For the last year, a total rise of Rs 10,880 occurred in gold rate.
