Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters is a gala of creativity: Speaker
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan said that the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL 2020) is a gala of creativity. He was inaugurating the programmes to promote reading in connection with the third edition of MBIFL here.
The Speaker inaugurated the programme by reading a conversation from the pioneering novel in Malayalam ‘Indulekha’ written by O Chandu Menon. The Speaker said that ‘Indulekha’ is a story that portrayed women empowerment and liberation.
MBIFL is a platform for debate for the youth and they receive abundance of knowledge, the Speaker said. Mathrubhumi Joint Managing Director M V Shreyams Kumar, Festival Director Sabin Iqbal and Artistic Director T K Rajeev Kumar received the Speaker at Mathrubhumi office in Vanchiyoor.
