Benyamin
A noted novelist and short story writer in Malayalam hailing from Pathanamthitta, Benyamin is best known for his novel Aadujeevitham. He has published 18 books in Malayalam including eight novels, three short story collections, a travelogue and memories.
Aadujeevitham is a best seller in Malayalam and has been translated into many languages like English, Arabic, Tamil, Kannada, Thai, Nepali and Odia. It is a text book for many universities and received Kerala Sahithya Academy Award in 2009. The novel was included in the longlist of Man Asian Literature Prize 2013.
