Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala will witness a polio vaccination drive on January 17. Children below five years of age will be given vaccine shots at specially arranged polling booths, transit booths at railway stations and mobile booths.
Parents are urged to take their children to get vaccinated on the same day.
Those children who fail to get vaccinated will be identified and administered with vaccine in the next three days, sources from health department said.
In the wake of Covid protocol, masks and sanitisers are mandatory at the vaccination centres.
