Six remedies for cracked heels
A cracked heel often disturbs many people. During the winter season, the crack deepens on foot for a few. But this is reducible by attempting some natural ways at home. Here are a few ways to reduce the extreme painful cracked heels.
Olive oil, sesame oil, coconut oil or any vegetable oil are good for cracked heels. Soak the legs in water before going to bed for half an hour. Rub the heels on a rock. Then apply any of the vegetable oil and wear socks on it.
The acidic nature of the lemon can heal the cracked heels. Take some lukewarm water and squeeze a lemon into it. Soak the legs in the water for some time. Then rub the heels on a rock and lean it. Then clean the legs with running water and drain with a towel.
Fruits like avocado, papaya, pineapple, banana etc are good to reduce cracks on the heels. Take a banana, half of an avocado and some grated coconut. Mix this well and apply it to the cracked heels. Massage for some time. After 15 minutes wash it off with normal water. Papaya can also be used.
Take a handful of rice flour and add 2 tablespoons of honey and Apple cider vinegar. Mix it well until it thickens. Apply this paste on the heels and massage. If the crack is a deepened one, add some olive oil to it. Before applying the paste, soak the feet in warm water.
Neem leaves and turmeric are natural healers. Make a paste out of the two with a little water and apply it on the foot. Massage and keep it for half an hour. Wash the legs and dry them with a towel
Glycerine and rose water
Make a solution of rose water and glycerin in equal proportion, apply it before going to bed.
