Easy and spicy pork roast
Pork dishes have always been at the top of the list of food lovers. Roasted pork may well be the most popular of them all. Here is an easy pork roast recipe.
Pork: 1 kg (thigh chopped into small pieces)
Onion: 100 grams (thinly sliced)
Green chili: 6 nos (thinly sliced)
Ginger: 25 grams (thinly sliced)
Garlic: 25 grams (thinly sliced)
Carrot: 100 grams (thinly sliced)
Cinnamon: 2 large sticks
Coriander powder: 2 teaspoon
Chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
Oil: 4 teaspoon
Salt: As per taste
How to prepare
In a pan heat up some oil and sauté the onion, green chili, ginger, garlic, carrot and cinnamon sticks. Once these are caramelized and golden brown, add the spice powders. Add the pork pieces into this. Make sure that the skin/fat portion and meat is separate. Cook on low flame with the lid on.
Once the pork is cooked, take out the gravy/fat that naturally oozes out from the meat. The skin/fat pieces can be removed at this point. Cook on medium heat until the pork is dry. Serve hot.
