Snack on crispy and tasty potato wedges
Here is how to make potato wedges that can be a substitute to potato chips.
- Potatoes: 500 grams
- Kashmiri chilli: 1 teaspoon
- Oregano: ½ teaspoon
- Salt: As per requirement
- Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
- Crushed black pepper: ½ teaspoon
- Oil: For frying
- Rice flour: 2 tablespoons
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into 3-4 pieces lengthwise. Give the potato pieces an ice-bath. Take a bowl and mix the garlic paste, spices, rice flour and salt. Keep it aside. Boil water and add salt. Drain and add the potatoes into the boiled water. Once the potatoes are half cooked, take them out and drain. Once they cool down to room temperature, add potatoes into the masala and mix well. Ensure that all sides of the potato pieces are coated in the masala. Heat up oil in a pan and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Serve hot.
