Mango fry is a smacking snack
With the onset of summer, mangoes are aplenty. We all make juices, curries and pickles with mangoes, but not many would know about mango fry or fried mangoes. It is an easy to make snack item for those who want to add a sweet twist to tea time.
Maida: ½ cup
Mango: 1 nos (Peeled and sliced into large pieces)
Sugar: 2 tablespoons
Egg: 1 nos
Baking soda: 1 pinch
Chat masala: ½ teaspoon
Salt: 1 pinch
Oil: As per requirement
How to prepare
In a bowl, add the maida, egg, sugar, baking soda, chat masala and salt and mix well. dip the mango slices into this batter and deep fry them in hot oil.
- Wheat flour can be used as an alternative to Maida.
- Pick mangoes that are not too ripe
