We all love Parippuvada. Did you know that it can be made with chicken as well as Bengal gram? Here is how to make Chicken Parippuvada.
Chicken: 300 grams (boneless pieces)
Bengal gram: 175 grams (soaked)
Chicken masala powder: 1 teaspoon
Green chili: 6 nos (finely chopped)
Ginger: 1 thumb sized piece (finely chopped)
Onion: 2 nos (finely chopped)
Curry leaves: 1 leaflet
Fennel powder: ½ teaspoon
Salt: As per taste
Coconut oil: As per requirement
Cook the chicken pieces with salt and chicken masala. Grind into a fine paste after it cools down. Grind the soaked Bengal gram as well (but not too fine). Mix the remaining ingredients with the chicken. Add the Bengal ground gram into it and mix well. make small balls with the mix and flatten them into the shape of Parippuvada using your palm. Deep fry until golden brown.
