Fed up with eating bread the normal way? take those leftover bread slices from yesterday and turn to a delicious sweet dessert.
Brown bread, side cut – 5 slices
Sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom – 4 nos
Milk, boiled to thicken – ½ cup
Rose water – 1 tsp
Ghee – 1tsp
Lemon juice – 1tsp
Water – 1 ¼ cup
Oil – To need
Powder the bread slices in a mixer. Knead it with ghee. To this add 3 tablespoon of milk and knead well. Keep it apart for 10 minutes.
Take sugar in a pan. Add water to it and boil. Then add cardamom and rose water to it and stir. Lastly add lemon juice and remove from flame and shift to a bowl.
In the pan add oil and heat it. Make balls out of the bread dough and fry in the oil until it turns golden brown.
Add these balls to the hot sugar syrup. Serve hot or after cooled.
