Mesmerising mutton soup
Mutton can be used to make several classy dishes. One simple preparation is the famous mutton soup. Here is how to make it.
- Mutton: 100 grams (boneless, chopped)
- Water: 1 litre
- Salt: As per taste
- Equal parts - dried ginger, black pepper, Pipli (long pepper), cardamom, cloves and coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves/spring onions: For garnishing (finely chopped)
How to prepare
Cook the mutton in one litre water until the liquid reduces to one fourth of the actual amount. The mutton would be completely cooked. Add salt and all the other spices. Mix well and take it off the heat. Soup is ready. The meat can be teared up if you want something to bite in your soup. Drain the liquid if the meat is not needed. Garnish with coriander leaves or spring onions.
