Ingredients
- Unsalted butter: 3 tablespoons
- Garlic: 5 cloves (crushed)
- Ginger: 2 inch piece (crushed)
- Garam masala: 2 teaspoons
- Cumin: 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
- Chilli powder: ½ teaspoon
- Salt: As per taste
- Boneless chicken: 900 grams
- Whipping cream: 250 grams
- Tomato sauce: 500 grams
- Mint leaves: 2 tablespoons
- Water: As per requirement
Preparation
Melt butter in the pressure cooker and sauté the ginger and garlic. Once they soften, add the spices. Sauté for one minute. Add the tomato sauce and pour in 1/4 cup of water. Let it come to a boil. Add the chicken pieces and mix well. Close the lid and pressure cook for 10 minutes. Release the pressure and take the lid off. Add the whipping cream and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency. Take it off the heat and butter chicken is ready to serve.
