The traditional ‘Kaipola’
'Kaipola' is a typical Malabar dish cooked to perfection. During this Ramzan season, try your hands at this snack which is definitely a must in your Iftar menu.
Banana – 2 nos
Egg – 4 nos
Sugar – 4 tsp
Cardamom – 4 nos
Ghee – Accordingly
Cut the banana into very small pieces.
Heat ghee in a pan. Add the banana pieces in the pan and fry until it turns golden brown.
Add sugar and cardamom to the egg and beat it. To this add the fried banana pieces.
Now in grease a non-stick pan with ghee. Pour the mixture to the pan and cook for 20 to 25 minutes in low flame.
Cut into pieces and serve hot.
