Green peppercorn-flavoured red snapper fish fry for lunch
Fish fry is a weakness of food lovers in Kerala. Here is a lip smacking recipe of red snapper (Chemballi in Malayalam) fish fry flavoured with green peppercorn.
Red snapper fish - 1
Green peppercorn - 5 teaspoons
Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 2 stalks
Green chilli - 5
Shallots - 10
Ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Coconut oil - to fry
Clean the fish and keep aside. Grind all ingredients except fish and oil. Prick the fish with knife and marinate it in the masala. Keep it for 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish in low flame.
