Making chocolate bounty bars at home is easier than you think
Bounty chocolates are one of the favourites of every sweet tooth. Here is how to make these delicious chocolate bars at home.
- Chocolate: 200 grams
- Grated coconut: 2 cups
- Condensed milk: 1/2 cup
- Butter/coconut oil: 2-3 tablespoons (optional)
Mix the condensed milk and grated coconut in a bowl. Flatten them into bars (or any shape you desire). Freeze them to become solid.
Boil water in a saucepan, put a bowl on top and crack in the chocolate. Mix intermittently until the chocolate begins to melt. Add 2-3 tablespoons of melted butter or coconut oil to help speed up the process.
Once the chocolate is melted, take it off the heat. Take out the coconut bars and dip them in the chocolate one by one. Spread them on a tray and let them freeze for 20-30 minutes. Take the bars and dip them in chocolate once again. Freeze for another 20-30 minutes. If there is any chocolate remaining in the bowl, use it to create designs on the bars and freeze again. Bounty chocolate bars are ready.
