Make tasty laddu using carrot and coconut
Laddu or laddoo is loved by most of the sweet tooth. Here is how to make a variety of laddu using carrots and coconut.
- Carrot: 1 ½ cups (finely grated)
- Coconut: 1 ½ cups (grated)
- Nuts: 1 cup (chopped)
- Ghee: 3 tablespoons
- Sugar: 4 tablespoons
- Milk powder: 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Condensed milk: 1/2 cup
- Desiccated coconut: 1/4 cup
Heat up ghee in a pan and fry the nuts. Add the carrot and coconut into it and sauté until the water evaporates. Add milk powder, condensed milk and cardamom powder. Keep sautéing until it thickens. Then turn the heat off and transfer the contents to a flat dish to cool down. Roll them into small balls and roll them in desiccated coconut. Garnish with dry fruits if necessary.
