Pizza is an Italian dish that is world renowned for its taste and versatility. Here is a pizza recipe that you can enjoy making at home with ease.



For pizza base

  • Egg: 2 nos
  • Black pepper powder: As per taste
  • Salt: As per taste
  • Milk: 2 tablespoons
  • Bread: 8 slices (edges removed)


For chicken topping

  • Chicken: 200 grams (boneless and roughly diced)
  • Ginger-garlic paste: ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder: ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt: As per taste
  • Garam masala: ¼ teaspoon
  • Curd: 1 tablespoon
  • Oil: As per requirement


For vegetable topping

  • Onion: 1 nos (roughly diced)
  • Capsicum: ½ nos (roughly diced)
  • Tomato: 1 nos (roughly diced)
  • Mozzarella cheese: As per requirement (chunks)


For sauce

  • Tomato ketchup: As per requirement
  • Oregano: 1 teaspoon


How to prepare

Crack the eggs into a bowl and add black pepper powder, salt and milk and beat it well. In another bowl, add the chicken, ginger-garlic paste, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala and curd. Mix well and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes before deep frying. Keep it aside in a bowl. In another bowl, mix oregano into the tomato ketchup and keep it aside.

Melt a knob of butter and keep it aside. Dip the bread slices in egg batter and create a dish (or square). Using a spatula, press the bread disc to create an even surface. Put the bread disc on a large pan and cook both sides on a low heat with the lid on.

Turn off the heat and place the bread disc on another plate. Generously brush the pan with melted butter and place the bread disc back on top. Spread the tomato ketchup evenly across the surface. Add two layers of mozzarella cheese, onion, capsicum, tomato and chicken on top. Turn on the heat and cook until the cheese melts. (ensure that the pan is well covered in butter to prevent the melting cheese from sticking). Pizza is ready.
