This juicy sweet and spicy dish will leave you craving for more after every bite.
Boneless chicken: 300g
Garlic (smashed) – 4 cloves
Ginger (smashed) – 1 piece
Maida – 2 tsp
Pepper powder – ½ tsp
Egg – 1 no
Salt – To taste
Sunflower oil – Accordingly
Tomato ketchup – 3 tsp
Honey – 3 tsp
Chili sauce – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 tsp
Sugar – 3tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Celery – 1 tsp
White sesame – 2 tsp
Orange peel (grinded) – ½ piece
Add the garlic, ginger, pepper powder, egg, salt, maida and mix well. Marinate the chicken pieces in this mixture for 20 minutes.
In a pan add oil and heat it. Fry the chicken and keep it apart.
Add tomato ketchup, honey, chili sauce, soya sauce, sugar, salt, water together and mix well.
In a pan, suate celery in ghee in low flame. To this add the fried chicken and mix well. Then add three spoons of the prepared honey sauce to it and remove from flame.
Garnish with white sesame and orange peel and serve hot.
The amount of honey sauce can be varied according to need.
