Enjoy egg hakka noodles for lunch
Here is how to make egg hakka noodles.
- Noodles: 1 packet
- Egg: 2 nos
- Carrot: 1 nos (sliced)
- Capsicum: 1 nos (sliced)
- Onion: 1 nos (sliced)
- Vinegar: 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce: ½ teaspoon
- Tomato Ketchup: ½ teaspoon
- Chilli sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: As per taste
- Black pepper powder: As per taste
- Spring onion (sliced): For garnishing
- Oil: As per requirement
Boil water in a pot and cook the noodles with salt for 5 minutes. When ready, drain the noodles. Pour in a teaspoon of oil and give the noodles a mix. Keep it aside.
Crack the egg into a bowl. Add a pinch of black pepper powder and salt and whisk. Heat up a little bit of oil in a pan and scramble the eggs. Keep it aside.
Heat up the pan and saute the onion and vegetables. Once they soften, add the cooked noodles, vinegar, soy sauce, salt, black pepper powder, chilli sauce and ketchup. Mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the egg and spring onion on top. Keep the lid on for a minute or two. Mix well and serve hot.
