Here is a Poori recipe sans curry; Thanks to Anu Sithara
Many celebrities have taken to cooking during the coronavirus lockdown and many have shared interesting recipes on social media. Now Anu Sithara has shared a poori recipe by makeup artist Mathay that does not require a curry.
- Green chilly: 5 nos
- Curry leaves: As per requirement
- Grated coconut: 1 cup
- Salt: As per taste
- Wheat flour: As per requirement
- Water: As per requirement
- Oil: For deep frying
Throw the green chilli, grated coconut and curry leaves into a blender, add a splash of water and grind them into a fine paste. Transfer this paste into a bowl and add wheat flour and salt. Mix well to make dough in the consistency for poori. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Then break the dough into small balls and roll them out. Deep fry them in oil until golden brown on either side. Serve hot.
