Next time you are craving for some kebabs, don’t rush to the restaurant. Here is how to make chicken kebabs in your own kitchen.


  • Chicken breasts: 2 pieces
  • Ginger paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
  • White pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
  • White vinegar: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter: As per requirement

For marinade

  • Almonds/Cashew nuts: 1/2 cup
  • Fresh cream: 1/2 cup
  • Salt: As per taste


Slice the chicken breasts into two inch cubes. In a bowl, add the ginger and garlic paste, pepper powder, vinegar and salt. Throw in the chicken pieces and marinate well for at least 30 minutes.

Soak the almonds/cashew nuts in a cup of water for one hour. Drain and grind them into a fine paste. Take almond/cashew paste in a medium sized bowl and add fresh cream, salt and little bit of pepper powder into it and mix well. Add the marinated chicken pieces into the bowl and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate it for three hours.

Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius. Take the chicken out of the refrigerator. Skewer the chicken pieces and apply butter over them. Bake them in the oven on either side for 10 minutes each. Remove from skewer and serve with salad, chutney or sauce.
