Thrissur girl bags third prize at National Yoga Olympiad
Thrissur: T K Sivaganga, a Peramangalam native girl has become the pride of Kerala by securing third place at National Yoga Olympiad. The lympiad is organised by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
This is the first time that a participant from Kerala has won a prize at the event.
Sivaganga is a sixth standard student at Sree Durga Vilasam Higher Secondary School, Peramangalam. She has been practicing yoga for four years and has won several prizes at state and national levels. Kishor and Anu are her parents.
For the last three years, she has been practicing yoga under K D Benny. She said the support from parents and school was the reason behind her success.
