Intl Women's Day: Freedom of women never questioned in Russia

Do women from different parts of the world think similar? On what aspects over a topic they think similar, and differ from each other? Five women, from Japan, USA, Ghana, Spain, and Russia, talk freely on freedom, gender equality and relationships.

"Are there incidents of violation against women! There is no such a thing in my country," young Russian woman Galine Semenets expressed her astonishment. "But in Spain, society has up until now blamed women for being like they are and dressing how they want, saying that's the reason they have been raped or murdered. This is luckily changing," a flash of hope comes from Yeiza Donaire of Spain. "Women have become more daring and outspoken in Ghana. I'm particularly happy about this considering that I'm naturally very outspoken and I question everything (almost everything). It would've been hard for me to fit in but then again who wants to fit in anyway!  Women are pretty free around here," blurts out another young woman, Esi Hagan of Ghana. Sometimes, the unbarred talks of these young women may uproot our prejudices about the west!
